Therapeutic Properties: Antidepressant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, aphrodisiac, carminative, cordial, deodorant, digestive, stimulant (nervous), tonic (cardiac, circulatory).
Uses:
Petitgrain oil can help with nervous exhaustion and stress-related conditions; it calms and soothes the mind. It can also relax the body, eases breathing, muscle spasms and stomach pains. Petitgrain helps for convalescing after an illness and also insomnia. It helps clear up a greasy skin, helps with acne and excessive perspiration and tones the skin.
Blends Well with: lavender, lemon, clary sage, myrrh and spicy oils such as nutmeg, cinnamon and clove.
Cautions: Generally non-toxic, non-irritant, non-sensitizing.
